About Tori

Tori holds an MA in Choral Conducting with distinction from the Royal Academy of Music, where she was also awarded the Thomas Armstrong prize for the highest mark in a final recital.

Tori is the regular conductor for the Lea Singers, Hertfordshire County Youth Choir and the Hanover Choir in London, assistant conductor for the Philharmonia Britannica, and chorus master for the Angel Orchestra. Her ensembles have been featured on radio, BBC television, and have given live performances for Wills and Kate, and the president of China.

She leads one of the Voices’ Foundation’s flagship ‘singing schools’ programmes, which has recently won a National Music Teaching Award and is helping to develop their secondary school provision, and she is also in demand as a workshop leader and adjudicator with UK Music hubs.

In 2017 Tori was one of a panel of three judges for BBC Songs Of Praise Young Choir Of The Year, and she also writes about music freelance for ClassicFM.

She received the Stanley Vann Scholarship for 2015/16 and the Barbara Maude Osborne Award from the Royal College Of Organists for 2015/16.
