With its roof-raising choruses and bubbling melodies, Haydn’s The Creation is one of the most life-affirming two hours of music you can hear – perfect for a midsummer’s evening.

The combination of solo singers Marcus Farnsworth, Vanessa Bower and Gwilym Bowen, with a top period-instrument orchestra led by Catherine Martin, and The Lea Singers with their new musical director Victoria Longdon promises to create a truly memorable occasion.

The evening will begin with a pre-concert conversation between Victoria and Radio 3 producer Lindsay Kemp at 7pm, to give some context to the performance, with the concert starting at 7.45pm.
